Counselling

First session

This will take place either face to face, by telephone or zoom. It’s an opportunity for you to ask questions and see if I am the right counsellor for you. There is never any pressure to continue counselling with me, I would strongly urge you to find the right therapist for you. It’s important that you are able to trust and find that therapeutic space with your counsellor. If you decide to continue, then we can schedule a date and time each week to meet, your sessions will last for 50 minutes.

I offer counselling either short term or long term, as counselling is personal and one size does not fit all, we can review while we are working together and see what suits you best. As a registered member of the BACP and Accred MNCPS I am committed to working by the principles and values set out in their ethical framework. All sessions are confidential.

What is Integrative Counselling?

Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy is a combined approach, that brings together different elements of specific therapies.

I am a Humanistic, Person Centred Counsellor using an Integrative approach, which means that my practice is influenced by a collection of approaches. Using techniques from CBT, Humanistic, Psychodynamic means that I can tailor your counselling sessions to suit you. No two people experience the same event in the same way.
